The 2025 Texas Cup was held February 1-2, 2005, at the Austin Country Club. The event was a huge success, with 32 junior golfers from Texas, including 16 girls and 16 boys. The funds raised for the 2025 Texas Cup will be split 50/50 between the AJGA Liberty National ACE Grant and the Divots Foundation. The Divots Foundation will partner with the PGA REACH Southern Texas to sponsor two college scholarships.

The Texas Cup

The Texas Cup is part of the American Junior Golf Association’s (AJGA) Cobra PUMA Golf State Cup Series. This junior golf series provides competitive junior golfers development in important life skills such as charitable giving, leadership, and teamwork. Participants gain a greater understanding and knowledge of the benefiting charities while being celebrated for their accomplishments. The Texas Cup was founded by AGJA alumni Sean-Karl Dobson and Sadie Englemann in 2020. In 2021 and 2022, the Texas Cup was co-chaired by Sean-Karl Dobson and Ally Black, and Blake Burt in 2023. The 2025 Texas Cup was co-chaired by Jack and Henry Talarico and hosted at the Austin Country Club for the fourth time.
